Find what to cook,
not just what exists
MeusMenu is a recipe platform built around how you actually decide what to cook — your mood, your diet, your preferences — not just a static list to scroll through.
Where it started
Most recipe sites give you a search bar and wish you luck. MeusMenu was built to answer a different question: “what should I cook tonight?” — given what you feel like, what you can eat, and what kind of cook you want to be right now.
Built by James L. Craig, it started as a personal project to organize a growing collection of recipes in a way that was actually useful — filterable by dietary restriction and sortable by whatever mattered in that moment.
The result is a platform that meets you where you are: craving something quick, cooking for a guest with restrictions, or just want the highest-rated thing in the collection.
“The question isn’t ‘what recipe exists?’ — it’s ‘what do I actually want to cook right now?’”
— James L. Craig

How it works
Three features that make finding dinner actually easy
Filter by diet
Vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, halal, and more. Every recipe is tagged so you can cut straight to what actually works for you.
Sort by mood
Quickest to make, fewest ingredients, highest rated, most popular — sort by what matters to you right now, not what an algorithm thinks you want.
Your collection
Save what you love and build a personal collection that remembers your preferences, so the next decision is even faster.

Browse the full collection and filter it down to exactly what you're in the mood for tonight.
